I came into the league with lofty goals for myself. I wanted to score a lot of goals and was speaking about being an all time great. While I may have a long way to go, I can say I have tentatively accomplished my goal in my first season. I lead rookies in goals during the regular season and I can only hope that it will continue.
I need to improve on a lot next season, but I will likely focus on rounding off my stats and build some defense finally.
A moment I’ll remember for ever was my first ever hat trick. I had recently switched my role from sniper to dangler and I wasn’t scoring much. I was worried, talking to my coaches asking them if this was the right call. We decided to stick to their guns and out of nowhere I had a monster week. A hat trick, a brace, it was incredible. That was also around the time we started winning some games.
I had a lovely first season and it’s only up from here!
