Not a bad return. Happy with the deal. Not so happy he’s going to the Devils lol but maybe being in Jersey (so close to NYC that he won’t have to move) increases the odds that he comes back in the summer which I’d be happy about.

Pretty happy to have Grabner, Devils are a team built on speed and Grabner has plenty of it, when we're all healthy the forwards look pretty deep now. Hopefully we can get Grabner signed and he turns into more than a rental.

Additional news on the Brassard trade is that Vegas could be a third team involved according to Bob McKenzie.

I'm hearing the Brassard trade will be rejected by the league if Vegas decides to not play along. So <a href='index.php?showuser=21' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Brandon</a> you might have to wait on that point.

Deal is dead, NHL ruled it was cap circumvention as Vegas had 0 intention on keeping Brassard, and can not take on cap for the player unless he is considered Vegas property for abit(people thinking a day)

Maybe Mac stays if we can't find a deal before Monday and we'll just wait until the draft, but Nash is 99.99% gone. He was scratched the last 2 games so he doesn't get hurt. And I don't see us trading for anyone (Gudbranson, etc.) either. Just picks/prospects.
