What I am saying -- and I think Spangs is too -- is that 'articles' like these should have a different payment criteria. This is not a 1000 word article. This is not a 500 word article. This is a spreadsheet. Yes, it took time to compile [less if you use Excel / Open Office / Libre Office / Google Docs, but I digress], but it is not an article. It's a series of data points.

Shout out threads shouldn't be paid the same as a media article. Rankings shouldn't either. I'm not saying that it's worthless, but it's not an article.

Should Bana get paid? Absolutely. This is a great thing to look at and a fun look back at drafts. But due to the minimal amount of creative content here, it should not be considered an article, and should fall under a separate grading and payment criteria.

My two cents... is that this took more work than almost any 1000 word article I ever did. With the exclusion of that provincial competition one i did because it took so long to go through and find everyone's tpe.

I say he gets 1000 because about 1000 more members care about this compared to a article. Activity = Reward.

I'm gonna pay this out @ wordcount just so more crew members get mad.

I understand what you are saying and agree with you on the majority. My only point would be why not come out and say "Should be graded differently" in your first post? Thats why everyone took it in a different context, because you and Spangs wrote it as such.

You're taking a position like media grader and adding new depths of complexity to a job that is incredibly hard to find somebody good to fill. While relatively you put more work into your article than Banack, there's a column he can give you bonus money for the quality of the article (iirc)
