For my first 425 TPE season I expected Ville Sato-Maki to be a point per game player and he didn't reach that, but at least he picked it up later in the season for his best season in the J.

One thing I didnt expect is to lead the Colorado Raptors in assists. Always thought I was more of a goal scorer, but I guess I am an assist man now!

The Mutes had a tremendous season last year and have been in a sort of slump so to say this season. While everyone on the team got better, we some how have managed to have a minor set back. Hopefully with the season brings some more wins for us.

I actually can’t believe my team, the Quebec Citadelles, ended the season at the top spot in the league, while we were still supposed to be in the rebuild part of the junior cycle.

I didn't expect the teams to be so clumped at the top and thus I didn't expect us to have higher points than last season yet lower standings.

Well Jussi Mutou sure expected to have a more respectable +/- this season. But yet another year of double digits in the negatives has just dug Mutou into a deeper hole to climb out of. At this rate, he may not even crawl out of it by career’s end.

A rather unpleasant thing happened to Jakub Alexa this season. Unfortunately, his performance has deteriorated compared to last season, resulting in not-so-good results for his team.

My player is Walbilly Koala. I think my performance subverted my expectations! In season 79, I racked up 90 points, a stark difference from my mere 36 in season 78. My plus-minus went from -20 to 35! Then my Average Power Play Time on Ice went from 0:50 to 2:37! So many improvements that I'm very proud of but wasn't expecting!

Bottom of the standings was unexpectedly good, for first time in 66 game era last team had more than 30 points (if I checked right), and it wasn't even close as Edmonton finished with 38 points. Worst teams being closer to 20 wins is likely much healtier for the league

I expected that my teammates will bring up better production and they did. I am so happy to have the team around and with them I hope we have a real chance on the cup this season.

This was the first season in quite a while my player didn't even approach 100 points. Obviously we all know regression will take it's toll on everyone eventually, but it sure came on quick.

The most pleasant surprise this season was the Edmonton Blizzard did not absolutely get curb stomped by other teams. With a core of rookies injected this season, the rookies have held their own and are already point leaders on the team. A personal achievement for Jeyeff Effo is not the worst in +/- on the team even though he is a the biggest liability while on the ice.

I expected our Maine team to be a bit better still this year. We knew we were losing some key players and we still had a great season but I was expecting a bit more

RE: S79 mPT #5: Expectations Subverted - By-Tor - 11-12-2024

Honestly I think Winnipeg did better than I thought they would. To have only 6 players above 1000 tpe, we weren't in the bottom lottery teams. If we can take a game against SFP, that would be a win.

To be fair this season Dan was expecting to take an even bigger step forward offensively, but unfortunately that didn't come to fruition. Now in saying that, he continued to be defensively responsible and that to be fair is his first goal every year.
