ABSOLUTELY NOT. If anything, the SHL should probably look at adding MORE since league paying jobs are few and far between. Users are going to need some way of earning more money on the regular, especially once expansion happens and more people join the league.

I'd like to see less toxicity and more love in the league. Most LRs are good at not being toxic, but others especially on site fall very short.

I mean... I'd think if the SHL wanted to continue appealing to a larger audience, it would need to make the league and weekly training more accessible. I think that things like decreasing money from Chirper or other sources would make it more challenging to maintain a user base rather than a necessary consequence.
Maybe we could do with less regression (which is totally theft, by the way).

If we're shrinking the league anywhere, I'd think going back to a 50 game schedule would be the best fit. Should we expand to 24 teams, that'll mean a 792-game schedule total, which means longer sims. If we expand again in a year or so, it'd be at least 858 games. How long will sims get if we hit 32 teams? I could see going back to a 50-game-per-team schedule as a means of resolving that issue, should we ever be a large enough community to have it.

I think less TPE loss from regression would be good. Allows careers to be longer and makes people more engaged imo. Also would stop anyone from potentially giving up on a character when regression starts.

The obvious answer is: less hockey. Due to inflation, the SHL will now play games with 3 periods of 12 minutes.
Overtime will be 90 seconds.
Shootouts are now 2 on 1s, home team chooses to attack or defend first. Once forwards are selected, defender is chosen. Attacking team gets 3 passes before play is blown dead.

I'm torn on this PT, there is a lot MORE i'd like to see rather than taking anything away. I cant speak on regression as i've never encountered that yet in my career. i think shortening the schedule is definitely a great MINUS.

the SHL needs less people tanking to certain teams during drafts. open yourself up to new LRs and stop gatekeeping spaces on the site where you think your the best people on the site.

Less money needed for weekly and seasonal TPE is what I would like to see. I'm not sure there are enough jobs to go around for all the new players and I would rather spend my hard earned money on cards.

I think the SHL should have less bigots, homophobes, racists, misogynists, transphobic assholes. The league has been a lot more welcoming in recent years so it's nice to see those people get banned when we see them come up.

Let's lower the amount of lines each team has. 2 goalies, 4 defenseman, 6 forwards, 8 coaches, and 16 players on the bench that are all IA. Bench players get boosted TPE. Also, unlimited trades for player protection slots, just like @Rich wanted

I'm hoping that there will be fewer people who have multiple jobs in the future. I've been applying to some positions but it seems they want to give some jobs to newer users (more than fair) or some users have multiple jobs, leaving users in the middle with nothing to do.

I think the SHL should have less delays in terms of award presentations, past couple seasons there's usually been a delay in terms of getting the award stream so if the award team and events team could better streamline that process that would be ideal.
