Not a sob story, but insight as to what's holding us up (at this point all the GMs are awesome and I'm the reason for a delay; also, thank fuck for beer league):
Started a new job on January 4th with the BC Government. Training has been intense (and early) and combined with my usual "evening" activities I'm left with maybe 2 waking hours at home on Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri (Hockey, Radio, Hockey, Hockey, Date Night).
My original intention was to use the spare hours after radio on Tuesday to update (which was a success) as well as spare hours before hockey on Wed and Thurs to get to the first sim.
And then a fumigation gets announced for my apartment (initiated by my roommate, long story, won't get into it; I'm not a filthy fuck) and I find myself fucking off to the island to escape living in toxins for a bit. Yadda, yadda, I've found time that was normally dedicated to lines and updates now dedicated to packing up my stuff into plastic bags.
So my goals now look like this:
Tonight before sleep: Finish player updating (I did half the teams last night, other half will be after this post)
Tomorrow: Zombie into work, and burn home as soon as I can afterwards. When I get onto the Ferry I'll dedicate that time to updating lines and simming the first set of games.
In an ideal world, the first sim will be sometime tomorrow night.
