Regardless, he wasn't ignored, and comments escalated. Any single party could have been a bigger person and avoided the situation. there was one common denominator who continued pushing the boundary, basically asking for punishment.

Was anybody hurt or affected? Everything Gorlab said was stupid and everyone knew it. Heck they responded by saying stupid shit back. Nothing that was said deserved punishment and no rules were broken.
It's pretty sad that Gorlab managed to create so many shitstorms by saying basically the same shit and to the same people.
