Voting is good. I think it would be interesting if for every game the winner wouldn't be determined by goals, but by a vote. All teams except the ones playing would have a vote. Nobody would ever again be "FHM'd", as a team could deserve the win by just dominating, even if they don't manage to score more. What could possibly go wrong?

Combining the tasks and giving the same time to complete as you would both the CSW and ASW would be a good idea for organization. Admittedly though, that would be hellish to grade from the PT Grader end but I'm sure I could manage if others don't want to touch that mountain.

I think we should get to vote on a prospect ranking every year for a PT as part of the collection of making an SHL Top-50 Prospects magazine where the PT team can reveal their findings and help newer users get hyped during their transitory period to the SHL

Didn't we split CW into two separate 8 TPE tasks, because that was supposed to be easier / less of a burden for everyone, like two seasons ago?

we literally used to have this and I have only heard like three people constantly griping about the change since we changed it haha.
Real talk, though, it's very, very hard to get a large bit of community involvement in any significant change and still have productive discussions. We have tried this a few times just in the GM server, running proposed changes by GMs, and every single time it gets derailed by people talking about other topics. The more cooks in the kitchen, the harder it is to keep discussions on topic and get anything done.

I like the change for different weeks for CW and ASW. It makes it less daunting to tackle. We used to have just CW for a long time and I think the system we have now is better.

As I have embraced my inner dictator in recent days, I believe we should vote on nothing meaningful. Just hand over the power to me, and I'll make sure that I win every award awards are won fairly, and equally among all users. That and we can vote on what type of category of food different food items are, but that's it.

I prefer to keep the awards to committee vote based, but it would be interesting to have an award for "best team" as voted by the league each season. It could be because they exceeded expectations, or dusted the competition, or even just played upset in the playoffs to a big favorite. As for the CW and ASW tasks I'm indifferent, but I will admit it has been kind of nice to have them broken up these last few seasons. It makes them a bit less daunting and it helps split your focus so it's not just 16 TPE about the Challenge Cup. If we did return to a single task format I wouldn't be bothered though.

Combine them both again - just make the window to complete 2 weeks? Best of both worlds added back to the task that allows people the time to do it and just focus on the 1 major task to complete

Every week we get to vote on one person to just permanently banish from the SHL. And then at the end of the season all of the people that get banished all compete in a Naked and Afraid type scenario where the winner gets to return the SHL with a 1.2X TPE multiplier bonus

Most "fan" votes end up descending into homer votes or just picking the most popular without paying much attention to stats or other arguments. Nominations from the community, along with a committee-selected short list, might help change this this and could be a fun way to add a few more categories to the awards.

What if the league voted for player with the silliest season? It could be based on name, user activity, expectations versus reality, or any other criteria the voter chooses to use.

I started doing one of the tasks but then because I posted, it was removed from my checklist because I commented but didn’t finish. I didn’t get tpe because the checklist crossed it off and I forgot to do the other task
Combining would have been better as it would have been a one and done to get my tpe.

Too many cooks spoils the broth IMO. Yeah its nice to let us have input but when everyone can hypothetically get involved it just creates cliques. As for the tasks - I'd rather just a one off set and forget in the event i ever lose my pass.

I feel like the PT should be the candidates submit something to plead their case and then we get to vote. (So there is maybe a SHL money incentive for them to plead their case). Voting blindly and having to do my own research is ehhh
