I almost never watch sims, I try to check out stats sometimes. I remember there was a time the ASG was simmed on NHL almost giving a real live feel to the games. That sounds cool if it isn't too much work.

I would love to see an anti all-star team composed of some of the bottom players in the league playing all against each other. Now, I don't think anyone would want to take part in the game but at least it could be interesting to vote on who gets there. Other than that, a rookies game is always fun.

Moving it to the halfway point of the season will definitely help. I would love to see it simulated on something new like EA NHL/2K NHL like whoever did a few seasons ago. Something different will get people watching I'm sure!

I don't know what a normal hockey All-Star game normally entails. But let's make it cool, like the NBA. Long range shooting competition, Stick-Trick Contest, and a Hit Stick Derby.

A cool thing for the All-Star festivities would be deeper dives into each player - who's having a breakout season, what the player credits for their success, where they can go from here, stuff like that would be really neat.

I feel a 1 vs 1 would be really fun to watch and i could see it being a fun thing we do at the end of the actual all star games or even something like the 3pt shooting contest where we could see who’s the most accurate from the point aswell as a shootout would be cool to watch.

We absolutely need to bring back the famed atlanta pee goblet that @hotdog took from me when i didnt get drafted back by atlanta, just imagine teams scoring goals and going to the bench to drink from the pee goblet

It would be cool if the all-star game stream had play by play and color commentary, add a little more oomph to the stream, give some highlights and player profiles, that sort of thing

Respectfully, I think my days of paying attention to the league are long gone. I do not even watch regular season or playoffs streams, or even keep up to date with sims. I hope you get some good ideas.

Love the idea to ask for feedback in a PT, no better way to get some ideas. unfortunately they won't come from me - I'm too busy these days and there's no way I'd tune in to an all star game. For me personally, i'll be very excited to check out the post containing the teams and that's enough for me

All star game fight club take the players who have the most hits most penalty minutes and most fights and do a fight tourny similar to pride fc but with hockey enforcers (this is highly unlikely but like cmon dont tell me it wouldn't be interesting)

+1 TPE towards Championship Week for each goal or assist. +1 for winning the game. +1 for winning a fight. +1 for allowing 0 goals in a period for goalies.

A few times we have put the all star rosters into one of the EA NHL games and let the CPU play the games. Those were pretty fun. I don't know how much additional engagement it would add, if any. It's also a fair bit of work to get build converted. It's probably not worth the work required, but I remember enjoying those.

Skills competitions would be the dream, and I don't think anyone would mind if the results were entirely made up (random number based on attributes, mini games on a different platform, you name it). Getting outside the limits of FHM would be a nice change of pace and add some variety to the stream for an event that doesn't really mean much.
