While true, it's a poor excuse for Canada's underwhelming performances. They have a damn good roster. Could use another legit top 6 center, but they're very deep on the wings.

You're right, but their roster is still pretty stacked. Other than maybe goaltending right now. Their newhead just gotthe job so i'll reserve judgement but maybe the lines just been bad before then or their roster ain't mix well. So many fails and misses from what I saw of the records. I don't expect them to win every year, but they should be getting to the medal rounds consistently.

This season was their first Round Robin appearance since S31 and lost by one goal to Finland in a pretty even quarterfinals (put up a much better fight than Russia did in the bronze medal game against them, gdi), so the new management is trending in the right direction.

For ease of reading, cuz seeing a random-looking set of numbers 1-11 doesn't really do it for me tbh:

1. Ireland (+0)
2. Finland (+5)
3. Latvia (+7)
4. Russia (-2)
5. Austria (-2)
6. Canada (-2)
7. Usa (+2)
8. Germany (+0)
9 (t). Czechoslovakia (+2)
9 (t). Norway (-4)
11. Uk (-5)
12. Sweden (+0)
