S50 Head Office Applications - Eggy216 - 09-25-2019

The seats belonging to @ztevans and @Slappydoodle are currently at the end of their term, so it's time to hold a gladiatorial competition to determine who is worthy of their seats.

According to the SHL rulebook, anyone with a player currently in either the SHL or the SMJHL is eligible to apply for a position in the head office. A member may not simultaneously hold an SHL GM or Co-GM position as well as an SHL Head Office position.

The responsibilities of members of the head office include:

Quote:Taking part in suggesting, discussing, and voting on potential rule changes to the SHL Rulebook.
Daily maintenance of the SHL
Creating and tracking the offseason regression list
Organizing and running the SHL Draft
Keeping track of GM offseason duties

All of the vacant positions will be appointed by the SHL Commissioner. The Owners reserve the right to veto an appointment made to the SHL Head Office by the SHL Commissioner at any time.

Applications will close on Saturday, September 28th at 11:59 PM Eastern, and review of applications will begin the following day on the 29th.

Hey look, we're back!

I'd like to thank both Slappy and Evans for their time as members of the SHL Head Office. Neither one sought re-appointment after their terms, so that opened the door to two new head office members. I'd like to welcome @Fordyford and @ArGarBarGar (back) into the hallowed halls of the head office!

In addition, we'll be bringing @slothfacekilla in to help us with rewriting and reorganizing the rulebook to hopefully make it clearer and easier to follow moving forward.

Thanks to all the applicants and congratulations to our newest apointees!

Excited to be on board!

If anybody has ever felt strongly about the rulebook layout or have suggestions on unclear passages don't hesitate to send them my way. First order of business is a major reworking of the rulebook layout.
