The Lions are pleased to announce that we have come to terms with rookie goaltender Steven Vassallo on a 1 year contract worth a total of $6,000,000 ($2,000,000 Signing Bonus included). We had one major need coming into this season and that was to shore up our backup goaltending situation. From the talks we had with Libertines, we think that Vassallo is the perfect player to come in, learn from Tegernako, grow in the league and eventually reach their potential as a starting goaltender. We see a lot of potential here and look forward to working with Steven for the forseeable future.
