Tracking Spreadsheet SMJHL S50 Game 134 - KEL @ HFX SMJHL Game 134 Advanced Taterlytics Report: Posessor: Ebenezer Virtanen @Zeddez Team: Kelowna Knights Victim: N/A Team: Halifax Raiders Time: N/A Total possession time: 1:00:00 Hot po-take-to: Welcome to another installation of the Ebenezer Virtanen Potato Hour! Ever since the young Kelowna Knight obtained the Potato back in game 115, Virtanen has been determined to keep the Potato with him at all costs. Virtanen is still only seeing about nine minutes a game as the team's fourth line center. Unfortunately for the Knights and Ebenezer, they fell to the Halifax Raiders this game with Ebenezer also pulling down a minus one performance. Kelowna actually saw their starting goalie chased from this game, so it was easy to say that the Potato was not necessarily good luck for the Knights. Still, Ebenezer seems to have taken a liking to the trophy and considers it one of his closest friends. Hopefully next game this will at the very least push the Knights to victory, and Virtanen to eternal glory. Or maybe he could finally hit somebody and give the Potato up? Nahhhh that would be crazy! SMJHL S50 Game 137 - COL @ KEL SMJHL Game 137 Advanced Taterlytics Report: Posessor: Ebenezer Virtanen @Zeddez Team: Kelowna Knights Victim: N/A Team: Colorado Raptors Time: N/A Total possession time: 1:00:00 Hot po-take-to: Wow another shocker here, Ebenezer Virtanen kept the Potato! I am starting to think that with so few games left in the SMJHL season we may be looking at the trophy holder come season's end. Ebenezer had even less of an opportunity this game to hit someone as he played less than seven minutes! He went 5 of 8 in the faceoff circle, but Ebenezer did not record a point or a hit. He actually did not even have a shot! I think this is because he has gotten to be almost too good of friends with the Potato and spends a lot of time talking to it, even when on the ice. His faceoff prowess and Potato friendship did do well to inspire the Knights though, they were able to beat the Raptors by a score of 3-2. Make sure you tune in to the next Hot Potato Report to see if Ebenezer can maintain his Potato dominance. |
