@Ferda - Who is the greatest player of all time and why is it Cameron Carter II?
First off, it's not CCII. Secondly, I don't think it's Esa either... longevity doesn't automatically make you the greatest of all time. There's a lot of players in the running for it.

@WannabeFinn What do you think about coming to Buffalo?
A little surprised, to be honest. Tomen did reach out to me before the draft, last night actually, asking if I had ANY intentions of uncapping & going to the SHL. I said no, since there's a kid on the way, and it just seemed like we were done right there. I'm happy to get drafted & be a send-down for the remainder of Vessot's career, and I really appreciate Buffalo for using that pick on me.
@Briedaqueduc 1. How will the Knights perform next season in your opinion? What is there to improve? Do you believe that the team will be a contender to the 4 Star?
While I don't believe in rebuilds & all-in stages in the SMJHL, I think this season we're really one of the team's to beat. There's a few places I'd really like to improve on but overall I really like the look of the team heading into Season 51. We'll absolutely be a contender, there's nothing that says otherwise.
2. Are you going to hire a co-gm soon?
I figured this question would come up at some point. Quick answer; yes. I've had applications open for a while now and currently have 4 of them, and likely to keep it open for a while more. My child is due at the end of June and of course I'm looking to be done with GM'ing way before that... but I still have a ton of time left. Not to say that any of the current applicants are bad, but I do want to wait a bit longer before making any final decisions.
3. Thoughts on getting drafted by Buffalo 23rd overall, even though you have mentioned not wanting to play in the SHL? Is there a possibility you end up changing your mind and this pick becomes worth it?
At the back of my mind I was expecting to get drafted, but I was really shocked anyway when it happened since, like you said, there's zero chance of me going to SHL. After talking with BUF management, they only had two players in mind this draft anyway & they already got them in Grum & Evok... so there was no harm in adding me to their LR. Was the pick worth it? Absolutely.
4. Any quick predictions on how WJC is going to wind down? Considering you are playing with Team Canada, probably the best WJC there ever was.
I'd be surprised if anyone took us down.
5. Any ideas of what the baby's name is going to be?
Ha, obviously depends on if it's a boy or girl... we'll find out before christmas. We both have a feeling it's going to be a girl, so we're crossing our fingers... if that's the case the name will probably be Madison or Rachel, our two current favorites. Boy's names are terrible, we'd have to figure that one out.
@Grum 1. How do you feel about the SHL currently
I don't want to get too philosophical but SHL, the forum as a whole, seems like it's become more toxic as of late. Maybe it's just my time as GM getting to me or just from being around for 4.5 IRL years, but it's just become less enjoyable for me over the past few months or so. There just seems to be a lot of negativity where there doesn't need to be any, but as I said before it could stem from frustration and hurdles you encounter once you're a part of the GM community. If you're speaking about the actual TEAMS and SIM RESULTS, I'd have to say it's more competitive than ever. The community is still growing and newer members are keeping pace with us old heads. It's fun to watch, and a welcomed challenge.
