Oleg lands in Detroit after Draft - Sleepy - 11-18-2019

The highly touted Russian goal tending prospect has made his way to the Detroit practice arena and has made himself available for Detroit's annual post-draft prospect media day. The Falcons hope Oleg is their guy for the next few years as he hones his game for the SHL level. He saw limited action last seasons as me made the short trip across the Atlantic for Anchorage's playoff run. He saw limited action but was solid in the backup minutes he saw for the Armada.

I was lucky enough to spend a few games in the SMJHL last season and I have to say I definitely need to stop up my game if I hope to be a starter in this league in the long term. There are some great players, some really fast players, that run the show and there are a lot of very good teams. I hope that we can put something together in Detroit and have a good season this year.
