RE: Franchise Values and Analysis (S50) - DeletedAtUserRequest - 12-25-2019 Its been 4 seasons since our 16 teams estimated values have been posted and allot has changed since our last update!
but before i submit the values for each franchise, Let me first review how this all works. The Net worth model places a monetary value to an SHL franchise as we encapsulate the real life instances that affect revenue.. revenue equals profit and profit is the key to a sports franchises health. The criteria is based around 'milestones' within a franchise which center around a teams on the ice play.. as we reward a set of performance goals around important moments within a season. On the flip side value is taken away from a franchise when on the field accomplishments aren't met. So when we look at a team's Net Worth we are getting a condensed version of a teams legacy, done up in a way which brings real value into the virtual... So what are the real life instances which affect value? lets take a look at the criteria sheet below. Using the criteria above we went as far back as we could to tally up the numbers and create an estimated current value for each organization! The leagues stats and standings go back as far as season 17! luckily that coincides with the modern era of corperate greed, profit margians and the media limelight.. Some additional notes: *This is not an official SHL report, this is something i personally started back in S35 and have updated it since. But the numbers were based around the stats of each organization so the numbers are sound. Think of the Net worth criteria as the team version of Argars League of Accomplished players who tally a set of individual criteria to create a point system to determine value. RE: Franchise Values and Analysis (S50) - DeletedAtUserRequest - 12-25-2019 The above is each franchises net worth, but the health of an organization and a teams current value may be different. teams jumped into the SHL at different times which could give certain franchises a higher value due to longevity. So we created a criteria point that better determines team strength and health.. and that is a franchises 'Average Earnings per season' which focuses strictly on what a team has done during their tenor in the league. Below are the average profit margins per season.
Calgary Dragons: Average Earnings per year: +15.2 Million New Orleans Specters: Average Earnings per year: +15.0 Million West Kendall Platoon: Average Earnings per year: +12.7 Million Edmonton Blizzard: Average Earnings per year: +12.1 Million New England Wolf pack: Average Earnings per year: +11.2 Million Winnipeg Jets: Average Earnings per year: +10.6 Million Hamilton Steelhawks: Average Earnings per year: +10.0 Million Tampa Bay Barracuda: Average Earnings per year: +9.96 Million Minnesota Chiefs: Average Earnings per year: +9.63 Million Toronto North Stars: Average Earnings per year: +9.37 Million Los Angeles Panthers: Average Earnings per year: +9.01 Million Texas Renegades: Average Earnings per year: +8.2 Million Buffalo Stampede: Average Earnings per year: +6.90 Million Manhattan Rage: Average Earnings per year: +6.06 Million San Fransisco Pride:Average Earnings per year: +$384 Thousand Chicago Syndicate: Average Earnings per year: -800,000 Thousand . RE: Franchise Values and Analysis (S50) - DeletedAtUserRequest - 12-25-2019 Most Relevant Notes since our last update:
: Its been a rough few years for Texas. A costly rebuild has eaten over 25 million of the teams estimated value since the mid 40's, moving the franchise from 8th to 11th in total net worth. With there fans not supporting the team, management ran a series of desperate campaigns to attract more spaniards to the games. Enter in 5 Ricky Spanish Latino heritage nights in S50! Unfortunately word spread that Ricky Spanish was not Spanish.. the Latino community wasnt impressed. : You have to hand it to coach ml002, what was destined to be a long an painful rebuild has not been all that painful thus far. A surprising playoff entry in S50 and a top line blessed by Jesus Christ himself has kept the fans engaged and the team profitable through a coaching change and some new organizational decisions. Toronto has averaged almost 8 million a season in profit since S47. : 2 playoff entries over the past 3 seasons including the leagues best record in 49 has the arrow pointing Green for the SF pride! This has been the organizations best run since their move to California and with the team back in profitability, SFP has boastfully reopened the urinals and water fountains at the arena. : There's been a black cloud hovering over this franchise of late. Word is that Buffalo sued the Chiefs for not trading them over more draft picks. While this lawsuit seems frivolous it does eat at the heart of what's ailed them of late. 4 straight seasons out of the playoffs has reduced Minnesota's net worth by more then 18 million dollars. But considering all the issues, the fans have supported there team during patches of good play and promotional nights. All things considered things can be worse. : Good times for the Buffalo Stampede as they seem to have successfully rebuilt from within while maintaining there status as one of the eastern elites. Everyone's coming to the games, even the Canadians are driving down! Walker, Metzler, Makela and Marius get to enjoy the twighlights of their careers to large crowds as new stars like Passamus, Luffy, Scoop and Muller take over. The franchise has earned a whopping 50.5 million dollars in profit over the past 3 seasons and their net worth is now in range of franchises who have been in the league allot longer then them. : For NOLA to be worth $150 million dollars after just 5 seasons in the league is Astounding! Pundits after the expansion draft predicted this franchise to win quick and fade off even quicker, but now in its 6th season this franchise is built to win and built to last. If you are one that takes average profit margin as an important indicator then NOLA is as good as it gets averaging 15 million dollars a season, just 200K less then the top team. Free agents have come to NOLA, ratings are high when they play on the SHL Network and Joe K has quickly turned into 1 of the leagues best current GM's. : Chicago entered the SHL in S45 with an expansion draft focused heavily on youth. The franchise has lost an average of 800 thousand dollars a season which is pretty good considering... Fans have given the team a moratorium through the losing and now may begin to enjoy the riches as some of those young hopefuls like Corey Kennedy, Lallo Selman and Nick Connolly have grown from within.. Meanwhile the notorious Cameron Carter II seems to have found a home in Chi-Town for under 10 mill a season and is moving towards elite status on the ice. :Strange times in New England as season 49 looked to be their breakout year with youth and talent emerging from within! While the talent remains in tact the team has not been able to build upon that forward progression which has angered an already impatient fan base. During this difficult stretch some have accused Wolfpack management of trying to distract there fans with John F Kennedy Jr. night and NKOTB singing every national anthem... GM Bitties denies these allegations. Still, New England's net worth stands at $369.5 million dollars which is ranked 4th of 16.
