end of the season thoughts - Lockwood - 04-30-2020
I’ve been laying low in the last few weeks just going through the motions. And I just wanted to sum up my first season. While I only put up 4 goals and 8 assists (12 Points), I think I grew as a player and I’m ready to face the rest of the league in the playoffs. The regular season is behind us and I have a chance to make an impact at the big stage. I know the scene is set. From humble beginnings in Michigan to the packed games here in St. Louis, I’ve come to this moment and will finally come face to face with the toughest play I've seen so far in my career. It’s time to show the world and to prove to myself that I wasn’t worth that first round pick, despite being underwhelming currently. I know this is my opportunity and I’m got to seize it.
I have to do this for my teammates, who all want the cup just as bad if not more then me. Especially after tripping so close to the finish line last year. Just Grant us this road to glory hockey gods (and FHM gods). We need to raise that cup after the end of the season.
To all the SHL GMs, I’ll be ready to go (I know I wasn’t active active for a bit but i should be good now). I’m not the flashiest player. But I’ll be the guy that plays both ends of the ice for you. I am a more rounded player and I will fit in most schemes. Anyway I’ll see you on draft day
