NL/Clean Andrei Kostitsyn Punishment - BadWolf - 05-14-2020
It has been brought to the attention of SMJHL Head Office that a player on the roster of the Newfoundland Berserkers has been playing over the 350 TPE cap. This issue was created before postseason started, however, the update did not go into effect until game 7 of the first round was simmed.
The player played over the TPE cap for the single postseason game, and at no time attempted to bank TPE earned over the 350 cap. We hold SMJHL GMs to a high standard in terms of monitoring their players and rosters as well.
Despite that, the GMs and management team for NL is not at fault, and this was the player's doing. With all of the information presented and dissected, SMJHL HO has decided on the following course of action:
Effective immediately, (Clean) Andrei Kostitsyn will be suspended for 3 regular season games. He will be eligible for any IIHF/WJC or preseason games until the start of the S54 regular season.
