Gooseneck looks on while playing defensive.

Frankie Gooseneck is a centerman, converted to the wing, who plays for the Manhattan Rage of the SHL, the team that traded for him in the infamous "Jeff Dar Trade" where Gooseneck and a draft pick came to Manhattan and Jeff Dar headed to Los Angeles. The Panthers drafted Frankie with the 22nd overall pick in the season five SHL entry draft from his junior team, the Anaheim Outlaws who signed him as a free agent as he came onto the scene post-draft in season four. "Grey Goose" has played 105 SHL regular season games, putting up 41 points in the process (16 goals, 25 assists) to go with a -13 rating, 142 penalty minutes, 140 hits, 22 blocked shots, and a 49.13% face-off success rate. In 40 NWJHL regular season games, Frankie scored 10 goals, 28 assists, 38 points, with a +3 rating, 77 penalty minutes, 67 hits, 32 blocked shots, and a 57.37% success rate in the face-off dot, while he has played just five SHL playoffs with one goal, a -5 rating, six penalty minutes, four hits, and two blocked shots.

CK = Checking: 56 (Max. 80)
FG = Fighting: 52 (Max. 80)
DI = Discipline: 62
SK = Skating: 80

Gooseneck is not a great checker or fighter but will not back down if teams are taking liberties against him, even if that means getting his ass handed to him on a silver platter. He can be known to take some undisciplined penalties but makes up for it with his very strong skating which allows him to get up to speed very quickly.

ST = Strength: 57
EN = Endurance: 71
DU = Durability: 52
PH = Puck Handling: 61 (Max. 90)

Frankie is not a strong player at all and gets knocked around very easily by bigger opponents as well as his checks not even affecting opposing players and he can be prone to injuries. Although he does have the ability to play some big minutes, he doesn't handle the puck all that well and will cough the puck up every once in a while.

Gooseneck beats North Stars goaltender, Mike Honcho for a game-winning goal.

FO = Face Offs:82
PA = Passing: 94
SC = Scoring: 89
DF = Defense: 55
PS = Penalty Shot: 57

Gooseneck is very good in the face-off dot as well as being one of the elite passers in the SHL and will not hesitate to pull the trigger to light the lamp himself. His defensive play is not all that good and he struggles to find consistency in the shootout.

Frankie is at the start of his young career and will only continue to get better as he progresses, look for this youngster to become one of the elite players in the league in the next few years and don't be surprised if he helps the Rage lift the Challenge Cup.
