Switzerland Punishment - Velevra - 08-10-2020
Switzerland Co-GM bluesfan55 messaged two players (Zdenko Beranek and Jasper Maximov) about transferring to Switzerland. Unfortunately both of these players are SMJHL Rookies and according to the IIHF Rulebook: "SMJHL Rookies CANNOT be contacted before the beginning of the SMJHL Playoffs.Do not converse with players before the first sim of their first full SMJHL season's playoffs regarding matters to do with transferring to your own nation or other statements that may be construed as such, as it is tampering."
Upon realizing his mistake, bluesfan55 brought this to the attention of IIHF Head Office. Therefore, Team Switzerland/bluesfan55 will receive the following punishment:
- Loss of $2M S55 GM Pay (bluesfan55)
- Loss of 1 S55 Transfer (Switzerland)
- Zdenko Beranek and Jasper Maximov are unable to transfer to Switzerland until S58 if they choose to.

Thank you HO for the quick and fair handling of this situation! I hope, everyone can see that this was an honest mistake. This punishment should be reminder enough to double check who we're sending out messages to in the future.

yep, i had a massive brain fart and thought it was free game for transfer once the transfer thread was posted (which it obviously isn't) and once i realized that it was too late so i thought the best thing to do to fix that would be to let HO know. they handled it really well
