This class was sorta kinda disappointing with the rankings this year. TPE only? Don't want that. Oh well.

"Kozzy is the kind of player you see out there and you assume he’s going up to the SHL next year, He’s composed on the ice, he reads the play effectively at both ends of the ice. He feels like a veteran, especially with his work killing penalties. He’s got a wicked shot and a great first step that pairs well with his ability to anticipate the play. He doesn’t play the body a whole lot but he doesn’t need to with an active stick that pairs well with solid passes. An overall great player with balanced talents, I don’t see how he even makes it out of the top 3 of the draft." - @Mazatt

"Grape’s offense impresses in every aspect. He’s great up tight with good hands close to the net--really good at locating within the slot as well. He’s especially dangerous in the slot with his solid passing ability mixed with his play reading abilities which have led to a whole team going down to block his shot that turns into a no-look pass. That’s on top of great edge work and acceleration, though his entire physical acumen is impressive. He can be a top scorer in the big leagues, though the only concern will be his defensive game. 19 points as a rookie makes up for those deficiencies though, especially with no special teams ice time. "Man, what is there to say about Ragnar-Alexandre Ragnarsson-Tremblay? As a rookie, he puts up great numbers, only lost two games, a shutout, .913 sv%--really, what is there to say? He is a horse back there, and with Blunt Man in front of him his relative lack of fitness isn’t much of a concern. Instead of focusing on cardio, RART relies on steady positioning complimented by fantastic reflexes. Really, just solid as a rock in net with great balance in all his attributes, making it impossible to abuse any of his flaws. Real good pro." - @Mazatt

While he fell just short of the minimum start count for our franchise leaders, he tied Blunt Man for the 2nd best all-time goals allowed average as a rookie.         Like I said at the start of the article, it isn't the players that matter, it is the actual user. I realized that pretty quick through the Carolina Kraken Organization, and now my season in the New Orleans Specters Organization, and I'm pretty happy with the people I've met so far. It would be unfair to try and sell these guys to SHL teams without speaking to how great of people they are, because that is what makes the difference. So here we go, I suppose;

I would be lying if I said he was the most active on our team, but I can say he is one of the bigger contributors. Within a week this guys came in with revamped stuff for his new teammates to use, including the likes of a team-only index (instead of searching "CAR" and continually hoping guys like Alexander Oscarsson stop showing up). Pinned to the main channel, it saves time as well, and while it is not necessary to say, I was impressed. He works hard on the league, which is shown in his TPE levels thus far, and he makes great graphic media, with the humility to take some time and give me some pointers. Probably not easy to hold back a few insults, I'll tell you. Flappy is a great, relaxed dude, and will make a difference wherever he goes, I am very confident in saying that. Good luck at the draft, man.

Gordie, if you end up seeing this, want you to know that it sucks to see how things went in the later part of this season. Even if your player brought nothing, you were such a pleasant guy to have in our locker room, and while I know you've heard this more than enough times, your "good mornings" every one of my nights was a great thing to have. You always had a positive attitude, always had something nice to say, and wish you stayed with it a little longer, even with what went down. I know you said you wouldn't go to the SHL regardless, but for an article dedicated to our rookie class I didn't want to leave you out. Hope all is still going well since the last time I reached out.

Putting it all out there, when @TheDangaZone saw you create at midnight before draft day, I don't think I was expecting a whole lot going in. However, since first contact you have been such a cheerful (or at least seemingly) guy, and I am so happy that first, we were able to grab you, and second, you became what we hoped you could be. You're a joy to have, and I'm sure some of the guys appreciate another Hurricanes fan. Keep doing what you're doing and have fun, it is quite obviously working. I'm glad I was able to coin the nickname "Groot", probably the best I've come up with, and likely the best on the team, in my opinion.

It's so great to have you already looking ahead to making an impact in the SHL, I can tell you enjoy the league, and it is an extra bonus that you love the team you're on. You've been great to talk to, and always make the locker room a better place while we're watching the daily games. Even in the dome watching the NHL games, although someone was usually upset, myself more often at night when the Canucks were on. Like I have probably said too many times in this article already, I'm glad we got you, and you're going to make a good difference for whatever team grabs you. Just be patient with it.
