Home Leaves Samat Beibitzhanov - Duff101 - 09-07-2020

Coming home from the expansion draft, Samat Beibitzhanov was shocked to find that the usual place where he lived, a modest apartment in the Bronx, had seemingly disappeared. An initial five minute period of pure confusion was followed by action. The search was on. Initial search efforts yielded no results, as the two bedroom one bath had seemingly disappeared without a trace. Then, his phone rang. A (now former) teammate reported that he saw the two bedroom apartment speeding southwest through Manhattan towards New Jersey. Samat jumped into his trusty 1997 Toyota Corolla in hot pursuit. The chase was on.

Samat first caught up with the speeding domicile in Trenton, New Jersey. With some help from some locals, the apartment was successfully cornered in an alley. Just as he was about to wrangle his home, it sprouted helicopter blades and flew away, nearly blinding Samat in a cloud of dust. The apartment now continued its southward trek across the eastern US coast. The pursuit continued throughout the offseason, steadily moving across the US. Finally, Samat managed to wrangle his home in Atlanta, which now steadfastly refused to move. Samat's new home now rests precariously on top of 191 Peachtree Tower, making for a simultaneously convenient and inconvenient commute to his new team. On the plus side he is now an expert parachutist.
