Fedor Sotakov's Day Off - DollaBill - 02-22-2021 This is my first day off since Season 58 started. That’s no game, no practice, and no optional skate. I find myself to be very bored and I realize I need hockey in my life all the time. Today has been very unproductive; nothing but eating Pop Tarts and binging the George Lopez show. My time in Colorado has been awesome. Living in the mountains here reminds me of Russia, but milk is cheap here and people talk a lot of junk to their government. Talking bad about the government in Russia will get you locked up. Either way, Colorado is a great place to play hockey and I’m happy this is home for as long as I’m in the SMJHL. Speaking of the SMJHL, I am happy to be scoring goals and getting better as part of the Colorado Raptors. If I’m behind honest, I feel a lot of pressure f or this season. The Raptors took a big chance on me by making such a big draft day trade to pick me 2nd overall. It’s been my goal to make that move look genius for Colorado by being the best performing rookie of the class. So far so good, but there’s still a lot of season left. Has anyone seen Niall Nails? Our team is 11-10 after playing 21 games. We suffered some bad losses in recent games and are now 4th in the West. This is unacceptable. Word from our locker room after Saturday’s loss to Carolina is that we are a mediocre team. The criticism is fair, but I believe we are much better than we’ve shown so far. Guys are working hard, but we lack the experience of other SMJHL teams, and it shows. We will continue working and improving as a group. Don’t sleep on the Dinos. KEKW hasn’t played his best hockey, McFife is growing into his role, and I like what Nishimori is working on. The Season 58 class for Colorado is coming together more as the season rolls on and we’ll be ready to shock the league when the playoffs come. I will keep working on my offensive game so that I can do my part. I want to score all the goals. I’m hungry to keep putting on a show and be a top pick in the SHL, just I was in the SMJHL. But first, I have some Four Stars Cup playoff glory to be a part of. By the way, if you see Reidar Gronkjaer, tell him to come back. I miss him. **446 words** RE: Fedor Sotakov's Day Off - micool132 - 02-22-2021 no sleeping allowed RE: Fedor Sotakov's Day Off - LordBirdman - 02-22-2021 |
