S60 Prospects Fantasy Rankings - By-Tor - 04-06-2021 Just a little something to fill the void. What would the DFAs of this past season look like in a fantasy lineup? We have the stats - lets look at the math. As a reminder, the players in fantasy are scored as follows: Skaters: Goals: 4 points (G * 4) Assists: 3 points (A * 3) Shots on Goal: 0.3 points (SOG * 0.3) Hits: 0.4 points (HIT * 0.4) Shot Blocks: 0.6 points (SB * 0.6) for Forwards Shot Blocks: 0.9 points (SB * 0.9) for Defencemen Goalies: Wins: 5 points (W * 5) Shutouts: 5 points (SO * 5) Saves: 0.1 points ([SA - GA] * 0.1) Here's how they stacked up: 1. G - Osada Tamura - 7 W - 2 SO - 149 Saves - 59.9 Fantasy Points 2. D - Marcel Beck - 1 G - 5 A - 23 Shots - 24 Hits - 13 BS - 47.2 Fantasy Points 3. F - JJ James Jamerson Angler - 0 G - 3 A - 18 Shots - 12 Hits - 5 BS - 22.2 Fantasy Points 12. D - Maxwell Carrigan - 0 G - 3 A - 21 Shots - 3 Hits - 0 BS - 16.5 Fantasy Points 13. D - Zak Wilson - 0 G - 1 A - 11 Shots - 8 Hits - 1 BS - 10.4 Fantasy Points These skaters played anywhere from 24 to 18 games last season. To be fair, let's see how they stack up ranked by fantasy points per game: 1. G - Osada Tamura - 7.48 Fantasy PPG (7 wins in 8 games will do that) 2. F - High Haschdi - 2.03 Fantasy PPG 3. D - Marcel Beck - 1.97 Fantasy PPG 4. D - Duncan the Walrus - 1.94 Fantasy PPG 5. F - Anton Harrier - 1.88 Fantasy PPG 6. F - Satoru Gojo - 1.70 Fantasy PPG 7. F - Hail Bingus - 1.69 Fantasy PPG 8. F - Gonzo Gobbledygook - 1.60 Fantasy PPG 9. F - Maverick Seabrook - 1.53 Fantasy PPG 10. D - NeverBrokeAgain YoungBoy - 1.27 Fantasy PPG 11. F - JJ James Jamerson Angler - 1.23 Fantasy PPG 12. D - Maxwell Carrigan - 0.79 Fantasy PPG 13. D - Zak Wilson - 0.52 Fantasy PPG Take it for what its worth, which is not too much. Some players have specialties outside of these fantasy stats. For example, last ranked Zak Wilson has one of the highest defensive grades of all the DFAs. Maxwell Carrigan has a plus 13, which is head and shoulders above the other players. Some players have glaring fantasy "deficiencies" - take Hail Bingus' one hit or Duncan the Walrus' 11 SOG. These are not bad, but they don't help build up fantasy points. Also note too that some players, mostly defensemen, have twice the ice time per game than others. (500 words) P.S. The SHL word counter is definitely off (showing 2834 words). Glad I ran it through another word counter. RE: S60 Prospects Fantasy Rankings - Zoone16 - 04-06-2021 @By-Tor the shl word counter counts all the formatting as word count. It's why it's crazy off.
