HIRING: S60 Expansion GMs - nour - 04-12-2021

Hey everyone! The time has come to select our Expansion GMs for the upcoming SHL Expansion (for more information, please navigate HERE)! These apps tend to be more comprehensive and creative than standard job applications (last draft we had everything from google docs to video applications to powerpoint slideshows), so tackle this in a way that advertises yourself as best as possible! That said, here is some critical information we're looking to see:

About You: Tell us your username, how long you've been on the SHL or on sim leagues in general, what your life is like outside of the SHL.

Experience: What Sim League Jobs or IRL jobs/activities have you taken part in that make you the right fit for this job?

Being a General Manager: What are some traits you possess that are essential to being an SHL General Manager?

Plans: What are your plans for your new franchise? How do you plan to shape the team? What are your plans for the coming Expansion Draft and SHL Entry Draft? How do you plan to get your franchise competitive in both the short and long term?

Locations/Branding: Where are you looking to place your Expansion franchise and why? We don't just want a team name, we wanna hear all about why you picked the city/branding you did, and what about them works to create a strong identity for the newest SHL team? While not required, we encourage including more than one option here. Logos and jerseys are not required at this stage, but don't be afraid to throw concepts in, the visuals are always good! Make these choices as cohesive as you can.

This is absolutely not an exhaustive list, and don't just follow this to the letter, get creative! We want this app to sell us on you as best as it can, so structure it and add relevant details however you see fit!

As per the the Expansion post, all Expansion Applicants may not submit an application that makes reference to a potential coGM, and tandem applications will not be accepted. We are looking for individual applications with the coGM process being handled following the hiring process. All mentions of a potential coGM will be considered tampering and punished as such. For all details on the coGM hiring process, please defer to the Expansion Announcement thread linked above!

Ive been in the SHL for like 5 months or something; My life outside of SHL is ok i guess

Fargo, North Dakota because there is no team currently in Fargo North Dakota. The Branding will be the Woodchippers after the movie Fargo; set in Fargo North Dakota.
