S59 Casino - Grum - 04-17-2021
Heyo!
With the new system, the casino was unfortunately still forced to give around 1.5 billion to the people. However, People before the season started seemed to have to think a bit harder on their bets and I felt a lot more confident releasing the lines so I consider this a win even if the numbers don't represent that.
This season, the casino has decided to make a change to how parlays will now work:
I wanted to slightly lower the amount a parlay gave as the casino has been seen as an easy 12m each season. As such I will be lowering the multiplier on a 3-team parlay to only 3.5x instead of 4x. However it is still possible to receive a 4x payout! If you wish to attach a cup bet to your parlay, you will still be in contention to the 4x parlay payout. This will make it so that the offseason plays some significance to the casino whilst also giving a more big risk-bigger reward aspect to the casino. You will also get the money from the cup bet, should you win.
Example: If I were to bet 1m on 3 teams for my parlay, I have a possibility of a 10.5m payout. However, if I were to attach a 2-1 cup bet at 1m along with those 3 teams, I have the possibility to earn 12m + the 2m I would gain from the cup bet.
That is the only change to the casino this season however the casino is looking at a potential overhaul! If you'd like to learn more, you can read my post here. I find it kinda funny that the change was to decrease the multiplier because too many people were winning rather than adjust how the odds and things are made to make it harder for people to win

Afaik Grum runs a bunch of tests to get the O/U lines for casino, but there’s only so much you can do w a preseason file where not every team runs real strats... what more do you want from him lol

Afaik Grum runs a bunch of tests to get the O/U lines for casino, but there’s only so much you can do w a preseason file where not every team runs real strats... what more do you want from him lol
