S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - Mutedfaith - 07-05-2021 Thanks a lot for all the introductions in the last mPT. I really liked reading them and getting to know you all just a little bit better.
This week, I'd like to learn a bit more about your goals in SHL. Not necessarily with this player, it doesn't even have to be sim related. What would have to happen in the future for you to look back and consider your stay in the SHL to be a succes?

Deadline: Sunday, July 11th @ 11:59pm EST RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - efischermann - 07-05-2021 Honestly? The best thing for me would be to look back and make a mark on the site. I was here at the start of this league, took a long break, and now I am back. So glad to be back, but I would love to be someone that was a major part of this becoming one of the best leagues around. ______________________________ 62 Words ______________________________ RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - Locagiess - 07-05-2021 Well initially I was hesitant, and still somewhat am about certain things. I don't have a whole lot of creativity or ability to do so, so graphics are off the table and I don't feel like I have enough time to get as into the writing as I'd like to, so I guess my main goal here is to just have fun and leave an impact on the ice and in the locker room. You can never have enough friends, or enemies, or frenemies! edit: spelling RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - natedoeshockey - 07-05-2021 It might sound corny, but if I were to look back, I would hope to have made lasting relationships with people and have a lot of new friends. I mean, the SHL is basically Dungeons & Dragons for hockey and/or sports nerds. I just want to form bonds with people. I know this is a short answer to a short assignment, but that's really all there is to the success for me. I've said it a bunch of times, but I'm just here to have fun. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - the5urreal - 07-05-2021 My number one goal coming into this was to have fun and the SHL has been a lot of fun so far. What I didn't really think about or expect to do was make some new friends, but I've already met a lot of awesome people. I'm not a super social person, so my goal now is to build on those relationships and hopefully come out of here with some new internet friends. I think I'd call that a success. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - Slav1cThor - 07-05-2021 There's a couple of teams I really like their brandings, and a couple of teams that just seem to know how to win. I'm just hopeful the SHL team I get drafted too has as active as a LR as Maine with good dudes like Maine. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - Junior - 07-05-2021 I want to be able to look back on the connections I had in the locker room and remember good times, friendships, and genuine connections that can last beyond the bounds of a simulation hockey league. I think that would be successful for me. One thing that stuck with me when I was being recruited to Colorado was them talking about how the community aspect is more important than the game aspect. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - DarkCanuck29 - 07-05-2021 Duncan Mackenzie wants to be a team guy; a guy folks can turn to in the locker room for inspiration, motivation and leadership. He wants to leave it all on the ice and give it his all every night. Stats are not the goal. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - Lobbanet - 07-05-2021 Just looking to have som fun and play along with the imaginary hockey leauge. Its all about having fun really. Talk with people and play games, no real goal with the current player except just keep developing and moving forward with the TPEs. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - SilverCannon - 07-05-2021 Basically, my goals are to just make my player a good player. I want to achieve some things that I will look back on and I will be proud of. I don't care if I didn't win a cup. But I do want people to remember my player as a good player. (54 words) RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - Jayba1t - 07-05-2021 My goal is just to have fun and enjoy some SHL games as my time is here. I think one thing that I can consider a success is the new connections and people I’ve met over a forum game. Hopefully, I can win a championship, but if not, I’ve already enjoyed all the memories along the way. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - artermis - 07-05-2021 I recreated for one reason: to win gold for the first time in Czech History. I said many seasons ago that if a team younger than the Czechs (the expansions teams of Japan and Switzerland, for instance) won gold before the Czechs won their first (they are the last founding-member without a gold) I would recreate. I've named my player after the Nagano '98 gold-medal winning goal scorer for IRL Czechia's first Olympic gold. In the meantime, in my non-IIHF career I am here to scor gol as the eloquent Dog Xist once put. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - TML99 - 07-05-2021 My goal was to get back in to the league with no jobs just to have fun. The main attraction was the new sim engine, I had left during the last STHS season and I was very curious how FHM was working. Just happy I ended up back on the crows I feel like it was meant to be. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - greencityny - 07-05-2021 At the end of the season I think I'd like to look back and say I had fun, improved my player and learned more about hockey. RE: S60 SMJHL mPT#2 - Goals - SchwarzNarr - 07-05-2021 Honestly, my goal for the SHL is to do whatever I need to do to help my team be the most successful. At least, that's my goal with my player career. As far as personal goals, I'd love to beat Luke (I think he's number one at the moment) in terms of the amount of money that he has. I've slowed down on Media as I entered offseason pieces in the ISFL, but I imagine I'll have something big to drop soon. |
