The Ultimate First Look at the S63 Draft Class - RashfordU - 09-19-2021

Talk about an absolutely loaded draft class.  Jam packed with top end talent, GMs will be very upset if they miss out during this draft.

Rather than bore you with details on what nations are represented, or what they they shoot, or even what position. Let’s just right into the players themselves.  There are so many we had to make sure the intro was kept short!

Leading off the pack.
San-sam Emerson [LD]
Shoots: Left
Nataion: South Korea

What the Scouts are saying: “Offensively Gifted, Defensively Sound, Emerson has been turning heads with an all around game with a punch of gusto.  The South Korean seems to have the core of what it will take to make it at the next level.  Coming from a lineage of players who have held the trophy high about their heads.  Emerson knows what it will take to exceed.”

We caught up with some players currently playing in various levels of the SMJHL and SHL to get their perspective on the Young Stud.

What stands out the most about San-Sam and how they conduct themselves in the LR?

Lime: “I’ve never liked those Emersons after nat stole my pb&j from the penalty box one time.  I think I saw him trying to shave ice off the rink for a snow cone but I don't know what he was gonna flavor it with.” they went on to say “I’m Hungry”

Clearly, Emerson’s demeanor in the room is keeping others on their toes.

San-Sam is arguably the best player in the S63 draft class. What sets them apart from the rest of their class?

Yosh: “yeah so you know how there are just those players that you know just stand out from the others when you're watching them play on the ice? Like, even when the play isn't happening where they're at, they might not have the puck on their stick, but you can't help but notice them because you know that things are about to get real wicked in a bit now that that player was on the ice? Well, that certainly applies to San-Sam Emerson, because at the most recent draft showcase, Emerson was the only player on the ice!”

Folks, Emerson is the real deal, hands down no one else in the draft class can keep up to them!

We reached out to a GM to get their opinion.

Nhamlet: “great blood lines, strong rumors coming out of Baltimore that they've genetically engineered the perfect prospect"

Not sure what they are doing in Baltimore, or where Baltimore South Korea even is, but i’m intrigued now!

Yosh came running back into the room and felt they had some more to give.

What will be the biggest thing in San-Sam's game that might keep them from greatness?

Yosh: we have not seen how san-sam emerson can perform against his peers, so the jury is out on that. We've seen Emerson snipe the puck at the one man Season 63 draft class showcase, but how will he perform when he is in an actual game time scenario is to be determined.

Strong words from the Nintendan.

Still, Emerson seemed to be the talk of the town as we lead up to the S63 Draft Class.  For whatever reason, players, scouts, GMs, and fan's alike seemed to have no desire to talk about any other prospect.

Well, to wrap things up, now that we have discussed in length each and every prospect in the S63 draft class.  We hope that the readers here find the information useful, that everyone is able to differentiate between the vast list of prospects and what they might bring to their team.  We hope that the GMs are able to get exactly what they are looking for.

If the draft was held today, they'd be picked way too low imo
