I'd honestly recommend not picking a country when you create. Gives you time figure out where you want to play.
I'd also recommend skater over goalie.

Any position is good, skaters feel a bit more dynamic but we're back to a point where goalies have demand.
Yeesh... um right now puckhandling, stickchecking, dread, but that may change soon
