Oscar Scholz tied with his Captain for the points total leader, but he had 25 goals, which also lead the team. The future is bright thanks to him. @karlssens
S69 Spack Jarrow Award
A forward already won MVP.
S69 Cup Noodle Award
Gabe Dabson, in his rookie year, averaged top line defensive pairing minutes and was among the best defensemen as far as +/- goes. Very excited to have this dude leading our defense core moving forward. @golden_apricot
S69 Anchorage Armada Goaltender of the Year
George Walsh played incredible through the season until FHM decided it no longer wanted Anchorage to win anything, but he had great numbers in the first 3/4 of the season. @Hoovuh
S69 Anchorage Armada Rookie of the Year
Tony Soprano #4 on the team in points in his rookie season? Oh fuck yeah, brother. Future. Is. Bright. @gurbs
S69 Paul Koivu Award
@CptSquall was a main stay in the locker room, even in the times when it was not very active. He drives conversation and keeps people around. Me and Retu love having him around. Well deserved. <-- these are the same words I wrote last season, but they're still true, and he still deserves the award. <---- this is also from last season. lol. It's easy when it writes itself.
Now, the announcement:
Speaking of @CptSquall, the Anchorage War Room has convened and decided that he needs to be honored. For his player's stats on the simulated ice, and for his constant activity driving in the Discord server. He has been instrumental to keeping the team going... in the good times and the bad, he is there to help out, there to talk about anything and everything, and he built one hell of a goaltender. It is a shame that we could not get him a cup before he got called up, but Tampa is lucky to have August Von Hecht and he will do great things there and win them a cup eventually, I just know it. We love our boy Chad Von Hecht and we hope he sticks around in the locker room and continues chatting all day, every day with us. His name and number will forever be in the Anchorage Armada Hall of Fame.
Congratulations, friend. We love ya, you earned this!
