STL Early Contact Punishment - ACapitalChicago - 05-20-2023
Howdy, everyone.
No, they're not fired.
One of STL's scouts contacted a player before they were approved. This is in violation of our Early Contact & Early Signing regulations. This violation happened prior to our conversation with Sparky regarding the updated terms of their probation given the new SMJHL regulations on probation. STL is being assessed the standard penalty of a $2M fine and cannot sign the prospect in question for the duration of S71.
STL are free to appeal this, as always please let us know if you have any questions.
