S76 Scarecrows Captaincy Announcement

Season 76 is almost upon us! It is time for the St. Louis Scarecrows Captaincy Announcement. Last season was rough for the Scarecrows, finishing last in the league, with only 15 wins. But with all of our amazing rookies from last season having experience, and even Playoff Experience, St. Louis will be a team that might surprise you this season.

For the Season 76 St. Louis Scarecrows Captain......

ALEXA JOHANSEN - @cake307

Alexa was named Captain last season, in her rookie season, and lead the way with a ton of pride, so it was an unanimous vote for her to be renamed Captain yet again. Last season she ended up being 4th on the team in points, with 13 goals and 22 assists, for 35 points. Also another highlight, this offseason was drafted to the Edmonton Blizzard 2nd Overall! Coming back this season she will be running the top line from the left wing, and looking to bring the Crows back to greatness! Congrats!

Now it’s time for our Season 76 Assistant Captains......

First up, not a huge surprise here, but a returning player to wear the A yet again. Drafted in the Second round this last SHL Entry Draft, 21st overall to the Montreal Patriots, St. Louis’s Star Defensemen….

Lastly, we have a Rookie that will be holding the A for us this season, and not a Draftee! Picked up off Waivers this season just after the SMJHL Entry draft, a player that came into the Locker Room with no fear, only wanting to come in and make St. Louis a better place, and play his best to get us some wins.
