Resurrection and a Labor of Love - Vandy - 08-17-2024 Just over three years ago, my predecessor and current Commissioner @WannabeFinn presented to the league somethat that was long overdue, recognition for the best players who ever wore the green and gold. Through no fault of their own, this good natured idea ended up falling by the wayside once the first four were honored. In that time, Buffalo has gone on to win two more championships and see new and exciting members of the herd don our jersey and lead our team into battle. When I became General Manager, this was an idea I knew that I wanted to resurrect. As a former player for the Stampede and two time champion myself, I know what it's like to be loved and to feel like you are wanted and in a place where you belong. Part of the reason the 'new four' were honored were because of their continued service to the team in the fields of mentorship, keeping the LR active and a welcoming place for all members of the Herd and work behind the scenes in keeping us competitive. Since the old thread has had a meltdown with regards to the old banners, here they are. The first four: and now the newest banners to be raised, congratulations to @Evok, @Nerio, @Tomen and @TnlAstatine on their great careers with the Stampede!
