Drama in the Highlands - Worley Walks Out - Leoben - 10-18-2024
A casual conversation devolved into utter chaos in the Ottawa locker room prior to practice today. Third season winger Clarence Worley was asking for advice from teammate Spaceman Spiff. However, after a casual remark from Worley about the appropriate number of spaces to use after a period, lines were drawn. The team mocked Worley asking if he still used a typewriter, with only one or two teammates taking his side. While the vast majority of players stayed neutral, the damage was done by the time leadership got involved. Worley stormed out of the locker room and was seen attempting to peel out of the parking lot in his Ford Taurus before the car started leaking oil. He was seen exiting his car and hopping on a bus. It is unclear at this time if he will play in the upcoming games.
Only one teammate offered a comment. “Well I’ll miss him but you just don’t use two spaces. There’s no room for that here.”
