I would like to see a team outside of North America at some point. The SHL seems to be going a more realistic route than other sim leagues, but surely in the far distant future of the SHL universe we could have figured out how to travel more cost effectively.

Having a team based out of Europe would be great into expanding the league. More talent. More inclusions. We have world teams representing countries in the international hockey. So why not popular European cities in the base league?

i would add a second atlanta inferno team as an smjhl expansion team so that way we could build a pipeline of prospects to enter the league under our juridiction and no one else could draft these players.

I will continue to beat the drum for an Ohio team and specifically the Toledo Mariners. The amount of Ohio people we have in the SHL with no Ohio team is a bit crazy.

If I got to make the call to expand the team in the SHL, I think what I would do is go for a team in the Fargo Frostbite, feel like the dakotas never get love and this would be a cool way to add them

We're closing in on SHL expansion again, now that we're settled into the current regression structure, and if we get an additional TPE scale shift to make younger low TPE players viable we could easily hit 24 teams in the SHL. I'd like to see:
Cincinnati/Columbus/Nashville
New Jersey/Long Island
Los Angeles #2/Anaheim
Portland/Denver

I do agree with the idea that Ohio is currently quite the hole that we probably should fill. There is also the Nashville hole that we have only somewhat covered, but what I would most likely do is make 2 J expansion teams, and just move Detroit and St. Louis up to the SHL, because it's a travesty those are minor teams compared to some of the major ones we got.

I don't really care if its SHL or in the J, but I'd always like for leagues to have a Pittsburgh based team since I'm a big Pittsburgh sports fan. Maybe the J would be nicer since it's not as huge of a location as the SHL locations.

My expansion idea would be a team in Houston or Jacksonville. Texas and Tampa are teams that could really use an in-state rival and these seem like the logical places to put a team, and it's a non-traditional opportunity to grow a fanbase in a new city.

Let's add more Canadian teams! Maybe something in the golden horseshoe or more teams in western Canada, too. Alternatively, I'd like to see something in the midwest like Iowa or Nebraska.

I'd get weird and bring in the Waikiki Wayfinders of Hawaii -- it's a name i've used in the past and it can lead to some fun color schemes and uniforms. Plus hockey in Hawaii? Now that's wild.

If I got to make any team in the whole wide world, it would obviously be a moose team. I don't even know if I have a preference of where, it'd just be a moose team.
