I mean honestly who says no? Who says no to Latvians, Lithuanians and Estonians rocking up and tearing the house down? Okay this would mean Latvia gets folded into that super team but I mean they are already considered a baltic team so it wouldn't be a stretch.

If the SHL were to expand let's go to the far north and put a team in Iqaluit, Nunavut. SHL teams don't need to worry about travel costs or even realistic arenas. Every game could be played outdoors and even under the northern lights when they make an appearance.

Vancouver needs to be an SHL team not an SMJHL team. I’d be starting up a big league team in Vancouver with a rebrand because the Whalers isn’t right.

For IIHF, the obvious expansion candidates would be Russia and Australia as the two countries with the most players without a home. But honestly, I think IIHF should actually contract down to 12 teams: restore Canada to its proper full nation status (I still can't get over how dumb it was to break Canada up), add Russia back into the mix, and unfortunately drop Ireland and France from the mix. I'd be open to the 12 spots being flexible on a year-by-year basis based solely on the top number of players from each nation.

Michigan having no SHL team is downright criminal. Maybe it's time for the Falcon's to make the jump to the big league. Otherwise I happen to have some inside knowledge that Grand Rapids is an absolute hockey hotbed . . .

With Canada's largest naval base, the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia will dawn a new SMJHL team as the Halifax Admirals. They will sport an anchor as a logo to separate themselves from the other boats in the Armada as well as the Argonauts.

Personally enough I would genuinely love to see a team in my local sports city, Columbus, OH. Yes I know it is kinda sad to be Ohioan, but the SHL needs more midwest teams and it would just be really cool in my opinion.

I find a lot of the brandings in the league uninteresting and if we get more animals I'm gonna lose my mind. I want an alien themed team in New Mexico and I've been saying that for years.
For iihf, Australia seems the most fun to me.

I'd like to see an expansion team somewhere in Europe, my first suggestions would either be in Stockholm or Helsinki. I think it's time to expand the SHL teams a little all over the place, especially with the amount of Europeans we have on the website.

Throw Scotland into the mix already. They basically created AND perfected the slap shot well before hockey came along. Scottish national anthem by bagpipes and scotsmen wearing kilts on skates, literally a huge dub as long as the fed head is actually scottish.
