I think there should be another Canadian team, maybe like Winnipeg or Nunavut? I think PEI could make for a great team too especially in the SHL!

I think Moose Jaw should get the next expansion team because with a name like that, you have to get a team there. It's a small community too so you know the citizens would really embrace the team and make it a great atmosphere for home games.

I think you should add a team on the moon! If the Pro Baseball Experience can do it, then the SHL can absolutely do it as well. Just use the same arena!

I would expand a team in Milwaukee. There is no NHL team there, and yet I always thought that Milwaukee would be really passionate in supporting a professional hockey team.

If I had my choice of an expansion team, I would go with the Sicily Salami. The team would be made up of a bunch of gritty grinders, powered by a diet consisting of strictly Italian food.

If we're looking at expansions, why not get weird with it? 2 new J teams in unconventional markets. 1 team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and another in Lincoln, Nebraska. These are placed for no other reason than weirdness. Let's go weird markets!

An expansion target for the SMJHL would be Utah. A hockey arena would be situated beautifully in the mountains around Salt Lake City and provide a natural rival to Colorado.

The Mars Extraterrestrials should be added, naturally. Yeah, could we opt for a cool Scandinavian team or some other Europe-based team? Sure. But what if we just went completely postal and jumped straight to OUTER SPACE? It'd be a great idea to 1) ascertain if there are aliens out there, and 2) determine if they think hockey is a cool game. Why not?

I would have to say New York. There is so much sports there irl, with the Islanders and Rangers in the NHL, Yankees and Mets in the MLB, etc. They 100% deserve a team here in the SHL, and even on top of that, the rangers are an original six

We have 20 SHL teams now, I think we need more than 14 IIHF to give more people a chance to play in the end-of-season tournament. For geographical diversity, I would add a team on the two continents who don’t have one yet. I would add Chile and New Zealand, since they both have snowy mountains.

The international ihockey federation could also use some more teams and nations represented. It feels as though the nation of Ohio is under represented so that is an obvious expansion idea.

Tornio Brewers. Tornio is a city in Finland, right next to the swedish-finnish boarder and they have a brewery there. They even got nominated for the best beer/lager w/e it was last year.

I would add a team in Mexico City and then add a team In Arizona so we would have a team in all three north american countries and then have one in the desert

I think more hockey out west makes sense. Certainly we could afford to have another team or two out near LA in that region. Something in Utah or a return to Washington would be fun.
