S79 New England Wolfpack Captains Announcement - G2019 - 10-21-2024
It is my distinct pleasure to announce the Season 79 New England Wolfpack Captains and Assistant Captains!
Captain: Antoine Beauregard - RW @Count Chocula Beauregard gets the nod and the 'C' here, and he surely will not disappoint. The Season 69 draftee (8oa to Edmonton) and former 1oa pick in the SMJHL (Newfoundland Berserkers), has won two championships with New England and is coming off of a career best 98 point season in which he scored 42 goals and recorded 56 assists. Last season's impressive tallies put him over 500 points for his career (all in New England), and he is off to a hot start this season, with 15 goals and 13 assists for 28 points, good for 2nd on the team.
Assistant Captain: Pork Tenderloin - RD @Rankle Tenderloin takes an A and will prove to be a leader both on and off the ice. Another Season 69 draftee (9oa to New England), Tenderloin also has two Challenge Cups with the Wolfpack. They had an incredible Season 77, scoring 21 goals and recording 41 assists en route to an all-star apprearance and nominations for the Bojo Biscuit, Scott Stevens, and Aidan Richan awards. So far this season, Tenderloin has 6 goals and 8 assists for 14 points.
Assistant Captain: Outdoor Truck - RW @Snussu Truck is the elder statesman of the leadership group, as a Season 64 draftee (8oa to New England). He's played his whole career in New England, tallying an incredible 822 points in 811 games. Truck has won 3 championships in New England, and has been nominated for the Aidan Richan award back in Season 72. While his days of top scoring may be behind him, he is a player who encapsulates what it means to be a team player, and is still pulling his weight on the ice, with 6 goals and 13 assists so far this season, good for 5th on the team.
