Charity Poem - Reno - 10-30-2024 Hello SHL! With permission from the winner of the auction @Eggcracker here is the poem that my friend Taylor very graciously wrote for em. The subject was: HFFO and his baldness. In the sunlight's gleam, his crown so bright A polished dome, a beacon of light No strands to tangle, no combs to wield Just the open sky, the canvas revealed With every breeze comes a gentle caress His bald head shines in its own finesse No worries of grays or styles to chase Just the freedom found in this cool smooth embrace A symbol of wisdom and of stories to tell Each glimmer reflects his life, so brave and so swell In laughter and joy, he stands proud and free A testament to strength, to simply be he As we raise up our glasses to the hairless and wise With a radiant glow that no wig will compromise For in every reflection, to truth we shall go The glory of being a man so bald, all the way from Ontario In the mirror he looks, it’s a friend not a foe His canvas of courage with its radiant glow His confidence rising, nothing to make him mare And when the Habs lose, he can’t rip out his hair No hat can contain the beauty it emits A man who looks like he can win a battle of wits With the power of the sun giving it a majestic shine The power he radiates, a being so divine So we scoff at the myths that surround the bald We encourage them to celebrate themselves and stand tall When he lets us touch its glory, we can feel nothing but blessed With each gentle touch a moment, a new treasure we will possess So as he stands, his bald head pointed to the sky We cannot be as cool as him, but we can still try So everyone grab your razors and remove the hair from your crown Everyone join the gang, the balds are way more fun to be around.
