S80 Minnesota Monarchs - Chris - 12-14-2024 So s79 wasn't the best regular season but a second round exit is better than expectations as The Monarchs look to build on this second round exit with most of the same core and a new set of defenseman. In S80 We are seeing some regression in our forward core with most of our great forwards hitting regression and getting past their primes but they still have enough to possibly make something happen. Key Players: Kevin Kim @Australiankek- basically the best guy we have on this forward core also the captain of our team and put up career highs in goals and points and led the team in those categories. Looking at the preseason for this szn alone he might have a big season coming up. Gordon William-Gibbles @SpartanGibbles- another guy I think can tear it up alongside Kim he did his part last season picking up 23 goals and 40 assists in s79. He might be a key part of this first line and possibly go for career highs this szn as we seen in his rookie season and his second year, watch out for this guy because he might make a difference alongside Kim. Ham Nom Hoang @eddiesnothere- it's sad to see a franchise great player in his final season but I believe Hoang will go out with a bang. finishing second in team scoring last season Hoang has shown over last season and his career that he can be a difference maker for his team and this season being no different. Even though it's his last season in the league, Hoang is gonna have a season that will be remembered by him and his teammates. Julian Florsch @Mutedfaith- the ageless wonder has shown that his age has not affected him at all as he was tied for second in points last season and entering his 16th season in the league he has a role as more of a leader and veteran as he plans on continuing to make his mark on the team. Expect Florsch to finish top 3 on the team for this szn. And finally Marian Hanak @Chris- even though he is a newcomer to this team he is probably the most underrated player on the team. Coming off of 2 straight 60 point seasons in the j, he hopes to keep that up in the big leagues playing on a line alongside Kim and Gibbles and he might have a very underrated season and may be a candidate for the Ryan Jesster award, so watch for this new guy. Minnesota might have an aging roster currently and s80 might be the final run for this era of Monarchs hockey with many off their players hitting regression but s80 might be another playoff caliber season for this team and you never know the Monarchs might make a run in the playoffs. But with the newer players on other teams the monarchs might have to start a rebuild soon. RE: S80 Minnesota Monarchs - spidey - 12-14-2024 Good luck Monarchs, hope to see you guys make a good run of it. RE: S80 Minnesota Monarchs - SpartanGibbles - 12-15-2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() |
