S80 mPT #5: See You Later - puolivalmiste - 01-13-2025 Playoffs matchups are set yet path ahead might sometimes feel bit too familiar.
So if it was up to you, which team would be removed from your division (or conference for SMJHL) and who would replace them? Why those teams? 25 words minimum!

RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - Keven - 01-13-2025 Even though for geographical purposes I wouldn't want to replace any team in the Atlantic division, for the purpose of this mPT I think Philadelphia would have to be the team to leave. They've faced and beaten the Rage too many times in recent playoff memory and a new opponent would be nice. It would be cool to have a New York rival for Manhattan in the division, so Buffalo should be the team to join. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - Muerto - 01-13-2025 For the Pacific Division I would replace Edmonton and Calgary so we wouldn't have to cross the border so many times. Let them be in an all-Canadian division and we will take Minnesota and Chicago instead! RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - cake307 - 01-13-2025 Please get rid of Maine. Please make Maine and QCC fight in the North. Get them away from me they're too scary. Replace them with, uh... Vancouver. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - Dextaria - 01-13-2025 For the central division, let's remove the Texas Renegades whose team might be one of the most American teams and let us replace them with another Canadian team! Come on down Toronto, we will free you from the North East Division. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - BarnabasCollins - 01-13-2025 Get rid of Winnipeg and add in Philadelphia probably would be my choice. Having an all US division is better for travel. Philly fans are also more passionate and crazy so it would definitely increase the division rivalries. And Dusty Rhodes can get cheesesteaks more often. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - puolivalmiste - 01-13-2025 I somehow feel like Haminton and Buffalo have been plying each other enough already and we would be ready for separating the two. And I don't care that much who would replace them but feel like Chicago could at least geograpchically make sense RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - Salming - 01-13-2025 William Salming would love to remove Toronto North Stars because they took Hamilton's playoff spot by just one single point. It hurts. Very very painful indeed. Toronto is not a nice team that's why. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - Rojjter - 01-13-2025 The Anaheim Outlaws deserve their return to the league, and I can't believe those stinky Malamutes took their spot!! You can expect my 15 000 word media piece on why Anaheim Outlaws is genetically superior to a Malamutes, Q4 2027. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - ghamss - 01-13-2025 I would remove Maine. Every since I joined the league (only in S78), Maine has been a powerhouse. From what I can tell they've been a powerhouse for a while. Despite not dominating as much as they have before, I can see them causing chaos in the playoffs no matter where they finish in the regular season. Replace them with, uh... Vancouver. Deal! Beating Vancouver has become way too easy, they are just not a serious hockey team. I'm totally fine with removing them from the northern conference. Replacing them with Maine is also a great choice. The last game of the season was tough. But before that we scored 30 goals in 3 games (including preseason games) against Maine this season. That was fun. So Whalers out Timber in, in the north! RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - TipToasty - 01-13-2025 Please swap Quebec City out for Detroit. Detroit belongs in the northern conference anyway, as it is one of the more northern cities in the United States. Quebec City? Right on Canada’s southern border. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - Ace - 01-13-2025 I think every one of the teams in our division should be removed, because I think the divisional structure within the SHL is doo doo. Go to a conference model exclusively, or do away with all of them and do a flat 1-20 singular conference. I have spoken. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - ibuprofenaddict - 01-13-2025 My team is actually a wildcard this time around, so nothing feels too familiar as we crossed over. If i could get rid of one team in my division right now it would probably be baltimore because i just dont see the point of them. RE: S80 mPT #5: See You Later - By-Tor - 01-13-2025 Minnesota would be replaced by St. Louis. Both in the central area of North America and both of similar skill level. Minnesota had their chance and blew it. |
