Leafs4ever - The GOD Owner of the SHL - Chris-McZehrl - 03-12-2025

Back to the topic to do write ups about players with a tenure over 10 years in the SHL.

Damien Littleton - first Player = first Legend

Damien was one of the original Season 1 Draftees and the Winnipeg Jets selected him with the 1000th OVA (Head GM). Back at this time the most players directly did play in the SHL and also Damien did that. Damien won with the Jets the very first Challenge Cup in Season 1 and also won in Season 7 his 2nd cup. In Season 3 he won the Stevens Trophy (Best Defender). He also won the Damien Littleton Trophy for the most dedication in season 7. Afterwards this Trophy was named after him. In his 8 seasons in the SHL he also was 6 times an All Star. Damien only did play for Winnipeg and after his career he was named in the Hall of Fame for the Season 9 Class.

The Legendary Career in Numbers

Littleton played in 318 Games and he had 127 Points, 499 Hits and 433 Shot Blocks. His style was Defensive Defender with some offensive upside. With that fact his offensive numbers are really strong. 0.40 Points per Game, 1.57 Hits per Game and 1.36 Shot Blocks per Game was unique at that time and the reason for his induction to the Hall of Fame. His best offensive Season was in Season 3 as he brought up in 40 Games 4 Goals and 19 Assists. His best defensive Season was in Season 6 as he brought up in 60 Games 112 Hits and 91 Shot Blocks.

Lance Uppercut - second Player = 2nd Legend

Lance came in Season 9 to the SHL and was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets at 1000th OVA (Head GM). In his debut season he won the Jesster Trophy as best Rookie in Season 9. In Season 19 he won the Cup with the Jets and also was named All Star and was nominated for the Scott Stevens Trophy. In season 23 he was inducted to the Hall of Fame.

Uppercut his Career Stats

Lance played in 651 Games in the SHL and all for the Winnipeg Jets. The Two Way Defender brought up in his career 447 Points. But also 1258 Hits and 842 Shot Blocks. With 0.69 Points per Game, 1.93 Hits per Game and 1.29 Shot Blocks per Game he was a force. In season 11 he had his career high in Goals with 19. As Defender very impressive. For Points his best season was in the Cup Winning Season 19. He racked up 45 Points in that season.

Rembrandt Q. Einstein - The Smartest One

Rembrandt was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets (Head GM) with the 1000th OVA in Season 22. He spent his total career with the Jets. In Season 25 he won the Cup with the Jets. Rembrandt is a two time All Star and was nominated twice for the Stevens Trophy in Season 28 & 29. After Season 36 he ended his career as Jets Player.

Einstein his formula for Stats

Einstein was in 756 Games on the ice for the Winnipeg Jets and he racked up 515 Points during his career. He also landed 975 Hits and 1034 Shot Blocks. With 0.68 Points per Game, 1.29 Hits per Game and 1.37 Shot Blocks per Game he did show us a very nice and strong two way game over his career. His best production was in Season 29 with 6 Goals and 41 Assists. With this 47 Points he was nominated for the Stevens Trophy.

Hercules Rockefeller - The Greek Demigod

Rockefeller arrived in Season 37 in the SHL and was drafted at 3rd OVA by the Edmonton Blizzard. He spent his total career in Edmonton and won in Season 45 & 49 two Challenge Cups. In season 49 he also won the Anton Razov Trophy as MVP of the Playoffs. After Season 54 he announced his retirement.

Rockefeller - Skating to business deals

Hercules played for Edmonton 850 Games and had 595 Points. With 0.70 Points per Game and 0.83 Hits per Game he was a good two way forward. His Career High in Goals was in Season 53 with 25 Goals. His best Points Production was in Season 47 with 47 Points.

Rocko Strongo - Let’s Rock

Rocko was drafted by the Minnesota Chiefs/Monarchs with the 3rd OVA. After 4 seasons in Minnesota he moved to the Los Angeles Panthers. In Season 68 he was for one Season a Toronto North Star and from Season 69 to Season 71 he was on the team Montreal Patriotes. After Season 71 he ended his career. In Season 64 as a Panther he was named All Star and a season later he won the Challenge Cup with the Los Angeles Panthers.

Strong(o) Stats

Rocko played in the SHL 924 Games and had 850 Points. With 0.92 Points per Game, 0.36 Goals per Game, 0.56 Assists per Game, 1.40 Hits per Game, 3.06 Shots per Game and 0.53 Shot Blocks per game he was a very strong two way forward with very good offensive upside. His best season was in Season 66 as he racked up 36 Goals, 55 Assists, 91 Points, 139 Hits, 217 Shots and 31 Shot Blocks.

Guy Incognito - Puck's secret agent

Guy was drafted by the Texas Renegades with the 11th OVA in the Season 73 Rookie Draft. In the Offseason between Season 80 and 81 he was traded to the Tampa Bay Barracudas after being 5 Seasons a player of the Texas Renegades.

Guy and the Stats

Incognito played 386 Games for Texas and Tampa in the SHL so far. During this time he racked up 189 Points, 879 Shot Blocks and 358 Hits. With 0.49 Points per Game, 2.28 Shot Blocks and 0.93 Hits per Game it is viewable that he is until now a two way defender with defensive upside. We will follow his future path.

With now 5 members in the book, tomorrow will be a break. Hospital Time with my daughter and an important check for her. But Friday I will do the 6th member, I promise.

The reality is that you guys just bring different things to the table. Leafs brings the on ice talent, you bring the technical expertise, and eggy brings sex appeal. If we could mash you all into one person you'd be a triple threat.
