It has just been announced that the Prince George Firebirds have agreed to terms with their 8th round selection, Kyle Keenan. The contract is reportedly a one year deal worth $1 million.
Keenan who comes from Chicago, Illinois is a left wing, best described as a playmaker, fitting the mold of such NHL stars as Pavel Datsyuk, Nicklas Backstrom, or Henrik Sedin.
The press caught up with Keenan after the signing and he had this to say: "I'm glad to be a part of a great organization like the Firebirds. I hope that with all of the great teammates I have, we can go out and win this year, thanks."
