- sarmo - 01-06-2012 After playing a season in the EEL, veteran defenseman Cattermole decided it would be best for his interest to jump back into the SHL. Earlier this morning, Alexander Cattermole agreed to a two-year, $7 million contract for a 2nd coming to the Platoon. Season 7 - $3.5 mil Season 8 - $3.5 mil (player option) No trade clause and 500K for Norris Cattermole started his successful career on the Platoon, making a name for himself by performing on an elite level and helping the Platoon win their first cup, he was then traded to the Comets in the offseason (Move that helped land Jabir and Fallah in West Kendall). Cattermole went on to win a couple more cups in Edmonton showing the Platoon GM that he made a big mistake when he traded him. Now Cattermole is back in West Kendall and ready to help his team get back in the finals and Platoon fans are likely to give him a hero’s welcome. “When Alex announced that hes coming back to the SHL, I made a jump at him†said the Platoon GM. “I was extremely happy that he wanted to come here and I told him I’ll match anyone’s offer to get him. After all, I did trade him away when he was happy here, now I’d like to make that up to him. He brings so much veteran and playoffs experience and gives us more defensive depth against the top offensive teams. Hopefully this move puts us back in the season 2 and season 5 position, but we’ll all have to work hard to get there. Welcome back mole!†Cattermole hoisting the cup in his successful rookie season on the Platoon - Abdeezy - 01-06-2012 noooooooooo - sarmo - 01-06-2012 Quote:Originally posted by Abdeezy@Jan 6 2012, 03:02 PMyessss - Fernando - 01-06-2012 YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES I TRIED TO BRING YOU BACK INTO THE PLATOON, WELCOME BACK BUDDY. - Daco - 01-06-2012 rawr fuck - McDonald - 01-06-2012 Quote:Originally posted by Fernando@Jan 6 2012, 05:03 PMhaha you were never going to take him from me!!!!! - mole - 01-06-2012 I would like to thank every team that offered me a contract, especially the chiefs for being the first. I was very close to signing with the panthers as they were neck and neck the whole time but i have to say one thing swayed my opinion. When i saw that this would be Fernando's last year I thought that it would be nice to help him go out with ring. Also, sarmo was the one that recruited me so its nice to join him. The panthers were very hard to resists as they had a great offer and playing with Stevens, someone on that i feel embodies the spirit of the old SHL, was very intriguing. I also want to thank McDonald for my time in Edmonton for taking me away from Hamilton and helping me get two cups. - Daco - 01-06-2012 Good luck in WKP then, hopefully our teams meet for an epic finals matchup. - Witz - 01-06-2012 Quote:Originally posted by TACOLORDOFEVIL@Jan 6 2012, 04:04 PMGood luck in West Kendall, man.
