I was surprised to see that we don't have a thread, especially with the tear that we've been on. Let's send the Hawks some love, where are my Hawks fans at?

- Banjo - 02-05-2013

Didn't see this! Hawks looking sharp, big game tonight against San Jose. Win tonight would be huge!

- Tim Bisley2 - 02-05-2013

Ooo, right. Tonight is SJ. Gonna be interesting to see where the Hawks really stand.

- Keenan - 02-05-2013

Gonna be a good game tonight, can't wait.

In the meantime, I decided to do some research. As you probably know, the Hawks were the only team not to register a shutout last season, that got me wondering: when was the Hawks' last shutout? I've got the answer and more.

Last Shutout: March 23, 2011 vs FLA (Crawford)
^^^The Thrashers were still a team back then.

Since then there have been 213 shutouts by 54 different goalies:

10 Shutouts: Halak, Smith, Quick
9: Lundqvist, Elliott
7: Thomas, Bryz, Miller, Niemi, Luongo
6: Ward, Voukon, Howard
5: Anderson, Brodeur, Lehtonen, Pavelec, Rinne, Hedberg, Varlamov
4: Fleury, Backstrom, Gustavsson, Hiller, Kipper, Price, Rask, Schneider
3: C. Mason, Dubnyk, Neuvirth, Reimer, Theodore, Harding
2: Holtby, Bernier, Enroth, Biron, Giguere, Khabibulin, Nabokov
1: Bachman, Clemmensen, Conklin, Garon, Lehner, S. Mason, Nilsson, Peters, Roloson, Sanford, Ellis, Greiss, Johnson

That list should be accurate as of yesterday, pretty interesting, eh?

Jesus I don't like reading that stat. Very interesting for sure. The way Craw is playing(minus last nights first period) you would hope that one of these games he'll just come out and be a brick wall.

Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

Kaner's a beaut. I'm loving this game so far, fuck Mike Smith.

- BBH - 02-07-2013

Kaner with 2G,1A so far in the first period.

Badabababa, I'm lovin' it.

- Keenan - 02-07-2013

6 goals and the 2nd isn't even over, bye-bye Smith, you asshole (I do like his mask though...)

- Keenan - 02-10-2013

Crawford with the first shutout by the Hawks since late March of 2011. What a road trip :D

Sophomore slump of peace

Hawks set the record for longeset unbeaten (in regulation) streak to begin a season!!! This team is unstoppable right now.

Ilike

No reason the Hawks can't play like they have been every night! Let's just hope we can stay healthy(knock on wood) and the goaltending keeps up.

- ORIGINSZ - 03-06-2013

Down 2-1 period left to play vs the Avs can they keep the streak alive
