- leotfatu - 06-14-2013 Now that the NWJHL Finals are at our feet, Montreal and Kelowna clash again in what many think will be a repeat of last year. Everyone remembers the offloading trade that sent many former Knights playing with L'Impact. Everyone said that they should hand the trophy to Montreal since they clearly had the better team of them all... and everyone forgot the Knights. Left for granted at the start of the NWJHL playoff, they are now headlining the Finals in what many think is a strange dumb luck and for a player like Daisuke Katsu, their path is not random at all. Although Katsu seems to have problem producing and rarely leave his name on the scoresheet, his big plays and hits are big parts of Kelowna's success. Everyone thought you guy were done for when the season ended. But here I am talking to you before the grand stage of them all. What can explain this? We played like a team that had nothing left to lose. When our GM traded our best core away and himself to Montreal we held a small secret meeting after the last game. Montreal beat us to the Cup last year and even our GM wants this, so we are going to crash their little party. We made sure Prikulis understood what we meant and we practiced every day, unbeknownst to our GM, until late night with the boys. In the end, even our best shooters weren’t able to score against Prikulis. Wow, talk about dedication. Its not only about dedication, it’s about revenge. Our fans at Kelowna deserve that cup after what transpired this year. It’s our job to send a clear message to our former teammates and our deceptive GM that he made the wrong choice. We do not fear l’Impact and they will go down in 4 too. Are you going to be more productive this series? My only concern is to play the puck wherever it is and punish everyone in its path. It leads to goals before and it will again. Steven Jalopski choose you as his target, any particular reason? Because we are the same. He knows, like I know, how much we bring into our respective team. By bringing me down, he hope his team will do the rest to eliminate us. But think again Jalopski, I will bring you down first. I will make sure your frantic will be punished. You want to drop the glove? Make sure they are big enough to hold you when you fall. Mine? I’ll make sure to autograph them when we shake after your elimination, one for you, one for fever95. Bold words coming out of Kelowna, but when you look at their playoff success, it’s hard to not take notice. This is Jean-Pierre Lebrun for Montreal Metro. - JNH - 06-14-2013 :impact: - Taylor - 06-14-2013 Quote:Originally posted by JVR21@Jun 14 2013, 02:50 PM:impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact::impact: - leafsftw1967 - 06-14-2013 these are some pretty bold statements, the impact will let our play do the talking Vive L'Impact!!! - SensNation613 - 06-14-2013 Impact ftw! - jaden20 - 06-14-2013 Impact beeyat---:ssst: - Skipper - 06-14-2013 :impact: - 701 aka YUNG GUAP GOD - 06-14-2013 VIVA FUCK THE IMPACT! Katsu has the most heart in the league, I'll give him that. |
