S17 1stFirst off I want to thank Chris for his time here, since becoming a Dragon he has been a HUGE help to me as a GM and I owe him a lot, he has also been nothing but awesome in the Dragons LR. Since signing here Claude has also been a great presence in the LR, but when I signed him I promised him if I ever traded Chris he would be dealt with him as well, so that's why he was included in this trade.
The Dragons are getting older and we obviously have a need to get younger, Chris is approaching regression in a few years and if we don't get a good return for him now I fear we may not be able to get the same return in a few seasons, so that's why we are making this deal now.
Very, very excited to be adding Jesse to the team, I really liked his player last season at the draft but we didn't have a first so there was no chance that we could get him, really happy we're able to acquire him now though. Reinis and Alens were inactive at the time of the trade but I have since been able to get Reinis active and I am working on Alens, The first round pick will give us another asset in what is shaping up to be an awesome draft class so I am very excited about that as well!
Thanks for the negotiations GoB, they took awhile but we both ended up getting what we wanted at the end.

Confirmed. Another tough trade to make, but bringing in a legitimate franchise forward in Chris and a solid 2nd line forward in Little McZ makes us much stronger. We missed the playoffs by a single point and I think that this trade gets us over the hump and breaks our playoff-less streak.
