Welcome everyone to the Season 17 SHL Trade Day! We're very excited for the second edition so before we begin, here's a quick rundown of how everything is going to go.
No one will be able to post while we break the trades, interview players and share our thoughts on the trades. As soon as that is done, we will open the thread so the members can share their thoughts on the trade. After 5 minutes, we will lock the thread and move on to the next one!

Alright everyone. Welcome to the S17 SHL Trade Day. It's been another banner season for the SHL but with every season comes changes. And everyone has change on their mind as we head into our 2nd Trade Day. With an Edmonton Blizzard repeat there are whispers around the league that things must be done by the other contenders to dethrone the back-to-back defending champs.
Today will be the first chance for some of those teams to start making up ground on Edmonton. Rumours are swirling about possible big names in play and blockbusters in the making. Stay tuned we have a great evening ahead of us, buckle your seatbelts and the road to the S17 Challenge Cup starts here.

We have a deal that is going to shake the league to it's core! Earlier this week we heard that Krever would be stepping down as Toronto GM and Jon Maxfield is the heir apparent to the throne! We now have the trade that has sent Maxfield and his player to Toronto!
