Sergei Karpotsov/JayTee sat down with SHL fantasy analyst Darren Dregger to give his predictions on the top scorers for the upcoming season

5. Lucas Smith: Lucas Smith is a fantastic player who plays on an exceptional team, and yet he has had troubles getting back to the point totals he once enjoyed. I believe he is getting up there in his career and now that he is a 3 time SHL Challenge Cup Champion, I feel like he will go out there to gain some individual accomplishments. Lucas will be an integral part of the Blizzard franchise as they go for their three peat.

Last year : 19g - 17 assists - 36pts
This year : 26g - 31 assists - 57pts

4.Marian Potoczny: The Panthers are in my mind one of the top 2 teams in the league this year and Kylrad will once again be the focal point of this fantastic roster. Players like Brandon Donini and Adam Kylrad will only continue to get better and Marian Potoczny will benefit greatly from it. I think that that he has soldified his team and has a group of guys who can play on a nightly basis, the sky is the limit for Potoczny.

Last year : 16g - 38assists - 54pts
This year : 24g - 35 assists - 59pts

3. Kyle Keenan: Kyle Keenan is personally my favorite player in the league currently, and is possibly one the most underrated players in the game right now. He is always so good and never gets the respect he deserves. If Keenan and Lucas Smith can get it going, I feel like Edmonton will somehow be even better than last year and one of the two could come out with some hardware.

Last year : 16g - 20assists - 40pts
This year : 28g - 33 assists - 62pts

2. Chris McZehrl: One of the most consistent players in the league will improve from last year and could very well have a chance at winning the MVP award as well as a number of other awards. He is just too good and was probably the player I most enjoyed playing against as he always had me on my toes and just made me push harder to be the player I was. McZehrl will lead a young but good Seattle team into the playoffs and Chris will reap all the rewards.

Last year : 28g - 27assists - 55pts
This year : 30g - 33assists - 63pts

1. Jordan Nugent-Hall: He may have a stupid name, but he is easily the best player lacing up the skates on a nightly basis in the shl right now. He can score, set up and play in his own zone. He is easily a 200ft player. He, along with teammates Nike Kickz and Carter OCallahan will reek havoc on the league. I doubt anyone will be able to stop these three and when the smoke clears, the Pack will walk away as challenge cup champs

Last year : 30g - 35assists - 65pts
This year : 35g - 35asists - 70pts
