- Dion - 03-24-2014 FIRST MOVE! Fire Randy Carlyle!!!! Trade #1 Trade James Reimer and Colton Orr to Calgary for 3rd Round Pick Simple, Burkie believed in Reimer when he was here, and this could create good competition in the net for Calgary, They take a low risk and it could end up with High Reward if Reimer gets his confidence and game back. Orr is just a throw in, would do wonders on a line with McGrattan. Trade #2 Trade Cody Franson to San Jose for 2014 2nd Round Pick I feel Franson could be a good PP specialist if SJ cant re-sign Dan Boyle, another low risk high reward move for SJ. Trade #3 Trade Carl Gunnarsson to Edmonton for 2015 2nd Round Pick We all know Edmonton needs defense, and Gunnarson is a solid defender Trade #4 THE BIG ONE Trade Jake Gardiner + Joffrey Lupul + Nazem Kadri + 2014 1st Round Pick + 2014 2nd Round Pick (Via SJ) for Shea Weber Timmy L I believe is gonna pressure Nonis into doing some major this off-season. Our problems start and end with defense!! Why not acquire the best defenseman in the NHL (in my mind) Nashville gets a surplus of picks, and a young defenseman in Gardiner. Plus they get Lupul who would be a good fit within Nashville and would add some offense to their line-up. Now onto Nazem Kadri, They need a offensive stud for years, and he brings that. Plus it takes some financial issues away from the Nashville Owners and Webers Massive contract Free Agency - Re-sign Dave Bolland 4M Per @ 3 Years - Re-Sign Nik Kulemin 3.25M Per @ 3 Years - Re-Sign Jay McClement 1.9M Per @ 2 Years - Sign Matt Moulson 5.5M Per @ 5 Years - Sign Matt Greene 3.25M Per @ 2 Years - Sign Thomas Greiss 1.25M Per @ 2 Years - Sign Milan Michalek 2.75M Per @ 1 Year (Mason Raymond Type Signing) Final Line-Ups van Riemsdyk ($4.25M) - Bozak ($4.2M) - Kessel ($8.0M) Moulson ($5.0M) - Bolland ($4.0M) - Clarkson ($5.25M) Kulemin ($3.25M) - Holland($850K) - Michalek (2.75M) D'Amigo($950K) - McClement ($1.9M) - Bodie ($600K) Devane ($660K) Phaneuf ($7.0M) - Weber ($7.85M) Rielly ($854K) - Greene ($3.25M) Gleason ($4.0M) - Granberg ($800K) Bernier ($2.9M) Greiss ($1.25M) TOTAL CAP PAYROLL: $69,611,810 CAP SPACE: $1,488,190 - LVShark - 03-24-2014 I like Franson to SJ - Gifter of Bikes - 03-24-2014 Should we just comment on yours or add ours for our favorite teams? - Ochocinco - 03-24-2014 Your first three trades are actually fairly humble. Kudos. - Maxy - 03-24-2014 Quote:Originally posted by Ochocinco@Mar 24 2014, 07:26 PMAll dumb as hell for Toronto but all humble  - Muerto - 03-24-2014 Plan Stanley Cup parade in October. Sigh despairingly in April. - Maxy - 03-24-2014 Also Milan Michalek will pull in more than that and far more teams are going to want him than wanted Raymond. He's a 5 time 20 goal scorer...
